Madeline Brandeis (1897 – 1937) was a children's book author and film producer and director. She was best known for her "Children of America" and "Children of All Lands" book series. She illustrated her books with photographs she took on her travels. She also founded The Little Players' Film Co., which during the Silent Film era produced eight films geared to children.

Quarter bound blue cloth cover w/ red lettering and red/black design: Shelfwear with light rubbing along the spine and fore edges; soiled from handling; corners lightly bumped; small area of indentations on front cover, bottom left; feint shadow from round lable on back. Inside: Gift inscription with stamped date of Mar 6 1973 on front flyleaf; pages are clean, undamaged, and complete.
