This beautiful two-story carousel doll house recreates an 1890s Victorian home in all its charming detail.
First floor: Entry with stairway, Asian rug, and coat closet; living room with grand piano, settee and tea table, fireplace, and chandelier; dining room with dining table and four chairs, buffet and china cupboard, and chandelier; complete kitchen with icebox, chopping block, stove and hood, sink, and kitchen tools.
Second floor: Landing with armchair, Asian rug, and desk and Tiffany lamp; main bedroom with vanity and mirror, ornate double bed, and armoire with clothes; bathroom with claw foot tub, pedestal sink, and high tank pull chain toilet; second bedroom with armoire with clothes, twin bed, vanity and mirror, and children's table with dolls.
Every room is decorated with wallpaper, wood floors, Asian carpets, potted plants or fresh flowers, stained glass lamps, ornate gaslights, chandeliers, mirrors, paintings, and ancestor portraits. There are clothes in the closets, books in the bookshelves, place settings on the dining table, china in the china cabinet, a silver tea service on the buffet, food waiting to be prepared in the kitchen, and a tea kettle on the stove.
The dollhouse is in very good condition, with flaws detailed below. Folds and pull-tabs are intact and in working order. It's missing the press out paper dolls and accessories.
