Marya Mannes (1904 - 1990) was a New York author and social critic who wrote for The New Yorker and The Reporter.
Robert Osborn (1904 - 1994) was a cartoonist and over a 50-year career drew witty and insightful, sometimes emotionally raw cartoons for The New Republic, Look, Harper's, Life, Fortune, and other magazines.
