Lois Ehlert (1934 - ) is a popular children's book author and illustrator, known for working with colorful, clever collage. Her many books include Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, Color Zoo, Snowballs, Cuckoo/Cucu: A Mexican Folktale, Top Cat, Waiting for Wings, and Leaf Man. She won a Caldecott Honor award for Color Zoo.
