Sorry, this item has sold.

A collection of seven illustrated classic books from Junior Deluxe Library in excellent condition.

Doubleday republished classic literary works for children and young adults from the 1940s through the late 1960s, first as Doubleday Classics, then Doubleday Junior Classics, and finally, Junior Deluxe Library. People purchased individual books and the later book series through subscription book clubs, which made great books more affordable for average families. The books presented fairy tales, fables, and many of the greatest authors of the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries, as well as acclaimed illustrators.
