Joanna Cole (1944- ) is a children's book author with a passion for science who's written over 250 books, and is best known for The Magic School Bus series.
Bruce Degen (1945- ), a graduate of the Pratt Institute, is best known for illustrating The Magic School Bus books but has collaborated with other authors and written over forty children's books.
