Lovely folkart paintings by French artist Jacqueline Duheme chronicle her travels with Jackie Kennedy in 1961 and 1962 to London, Paris, Rome, India, Pakistan, and home again to Washington, D.C.
We see Jackie's audience in Rome with Pope John XXIII in 1962, her tour of a New Delhi boys' home led by Indira Gandhi, and her stroll through Prime Minister Nehru's private gardens.
Among the historic moments Duheme captures are the President and Mrs. Kennedy's state visit to France in 1961, remembered for JFK's comment that he was "the man who accompanied Jacqueline Kennedy to Paris".
