Michael Bond's Book of Bears: A new Paddington Bear story plus bear stories by other authors and illustrators.

This lovely book would make a welcome gift for a baby shower, child's birthday, or lover of Paddington Bear or bears in general.
As the story goes, "One Christmas Eve, Michael Bond came across a toy bear on the shelf of a London store. Unable to resist it, he bought it as a stocking filler for his wife and, because they lived in Paddington at the time, that became the bear's name." Bond wrote A Bear Called Paddington in 1958, and after delighting nearly three generations of children with tales of Paddington Bear, he passed away in London on June 27, 2017.
Bond's Book of Bears contains a previously unpublished Paddington Bear story, in addition to 17 bear stories by Enid Blyton, Joan G. Robinson, Syd Hoff, and others, and a distinguished cast of illustrators, including Maurice Sendak. (See photo of the complete Table of Contents.)
