Mary Raymond Shipman Andrews (1860 – 1936) was an American author born in Mobile, Alabama and raised in Lexington, Kentucky. She married William Shankland Andrews, a judge of the New York Court of Appeals, and resided in Taunton, New York. Andrews' stories often depicted outdoor adventures, but she also wrote sentimental, melodramatic magazine stories popular at the time. She wrote for Scribner's Magazine, and also authored a historical novel, poetry, and a biography of Florence Nightingale.
