Judy Sierra (1945 - ) is an award-winning author of more than thirty books. Before writing full-time, she was a librarian, college professor, and puppeteer. Sierra's unique rhythm and rhyme have drawn comparisons to Dr. Seuss and Mother Goose.
Stefano Vitale (1958 - ) is influenced by folk art, particularly from Mexico and Central America. His children's books include Why War Is Never a Good Idea by Alice Walker, When the Wind Stops by Charlotte Zolotow, and The Story of Easter by Aileen Fisher.
