Michael Scott (1959 - ) is an Irish writer of science fiction, fantasy, horror, and romance, including work written under the pseudonym Anna Dillon, a scriptwriter for stage and screen, and a folklorist. Scott has published over 120 books in 25 languages. He is best known for his young adult series The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel, which features historical figures such as the alchemist Nicholas Flamel, Joan of Arc, William Shakespeare, and Niccolò Machiavelli.
