Dean Walley (1938 - 2017) was a writer and editor who worked for various publications, including National Geographic, Reader's Digest, and Hallmark. He was known for his inspirational and humorous stories, poems, and essays that reflected his love of nature, travel, and human interest. He also authored several books, such as The Joy of Living, The World of the Polar Bear, and The Best of Dean Walley.
Alice Ann Biggerstaff (1928 - 2014) worked at Hallmark as a product designer and artist for 37 years. Her artistic style reflected influences of the Mexican folkart that she loved and collected. Retiring to Santa Fe, she continued her interest in the arts.
