The little girl living in the house, all by herself, has never seen the ghost, or ghosts. She doesn't know what they look like but would love to know! As you turn each page, an overlay over the illustrated page reveals the ghost, or ghosts, in the house. She takes you on a tour of the house, and it's up to you to point out the ghost, or ghosts, around her.
Award-winning children's book author and illustrator Oliver Jeffers (1977 - ) was born in Australia, educated in Northern Island, lived a while in Brooklyn, and returned to Northern Ireland. His picture books have been translated into over fifty languages and sold over 14 million copies worldwide. Favorite books include Lost and Found, The Way Back Home, Up and Down, The Hueyes Series, Once Upon an Alphabet, The Fate of Fausto, and The Day the Crayons Quit (illustrator only). He has won many awards, including an MBE for his services to the arts.
