Margaret Walden Froehlich (1930 - 2022) of West Redding, Connecticut was a long-time educator and beloved children's storyteller.
Marla Frazee (1958 - ) is an American author and illustrator of children's literature, who has received two Caldecott Honors for her picture book illustrations. She worked in advertising, toy design, and magazines before illustrating her first published book, World-Famous Muriel and the Magic Mystery, in 1990. Since then, she has illustrated and written Roller Coaster, The Boss Baby, Boot & Shoe, The Seven Silly Eaters, Stars, and the Clementine series.
