Front flap -

"From where the sun rises in the East to where it sets in the West, silent stories are alive in the land around us.

"In Native American tradition, all is sacred, and legends exist as a way to help us understand our lives. From mountains to canyons to oceans to deserts, stories from the land can speak to us, can tell us of wisdom, can tell us of power, can tell us of the world that surrounds us. Listen...

"Open this inspiring book, and let ten Native American legends and illuminating paintings tell of the majesty and miracle of a land we call home."
