Minnesota author Douglas Wood (1951 - ) has written non-fiction, poetry, and over 30 children's books, including the best-selling Old Turtle series, What Moms Can't Do, and No One But You. His books have been translated into more than 20 languages and have received numerous honors, such as the Christopher Medal, the ABBY Award, and the International Reading Association Book of the Year. Wood is also a musician, a wilderness guide, and a naturalist who loves to share his passion for nature and creativity with audiences of all ages.
P. J. Lynch has illustrated more than 20 books, including The Christmas Miracle of Jonathan Toomey, When Jessie Came Across the Sea, and The Boy Who Fell Off the Mayflower, or John Howland's Good Luck. He has won two Kate Greenaway Medals and three Christopher Medals (including one for Grandad's Prayers of the Earth), and has been nominated twice for the Hans Christian Andersen Award. Condition*: Very Good/Good. Dust jacket: Very light edge wear, including head and tail of the spine; light fading at spine; very small scrape midway on the spine. Illustrated cover boards. Pages are clean and complete except for closed tears on two pages, as shown in photos. Easily mended but book is priced accordingly.

In turn, I acquire your full name, mailing address, and email address in order to fulfill your order. I print a hard copy of your order receipt and a mailing label but I do not use this information for any other purpose or share it with third parties.
2. Etsy retains your payment information, such as PayPal, credit card, or other payment method. I do not have access to this information nor will I ask for it.
3. Etsy collects visitor data which it shares with its sellers. I supplement this information with additional data collected by Google Analytics. This information helps me identify potential problems, manage backend processes, and develop content. However, the data that I view is anonymous and does not contain personal information.

Gift wrapping and packaging
I wrap every book with care and ship it in a padded mailing envelope or sturdy box. If you're purchasing a gift, please advise when ordering and include a gift message.

1. I lightly clean books, as needed, but I don't attempt repairs or restoration. If you'd like a book restored, you'll find trustworthy, qualified experts in your area through libraries or museums.
