Except in this version of the story, Little Red Riding Hood and her mother, and the other characters, are William Wegman's Weimaraners. (Say that fast five times.) Wegman tells the story with his own photography, experimenting with different camera angles, costumes, and props to create a whimsical and campy version of Little Red.
William Wegman (1943 - ) is an American photographer, painter, and writer best known for his series of photographs and videos featuring his own Weimaraner dogs in various costumes and poses. He began his collaboration with his first dog, Man Ray, in the early 1970s, and continued with Fay Ray and her offspring until today.
