"For Our Children" was created to raise awareness and funds for the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, a nonprofit organization that supports research and treatment for children living with HIV/AIDS. The book features poems, illustrations, and songs by various artists in support of the cause. Their book is a tribute to the resilience and courage of children affected by this disease, and a celebration of their joy and creativity. (The artwork for the dust jacket was created by Ariel Glaser, who died from complications of HIV.)
