Arthur Burdett "A. B." Frost (1851 - 1928) was a renowned American illustrator, graphic artist, painter and comics writer. He is best known for his illustrations of Brer Rabbit and other characters in the Joel Chandler Harris' Uncle Remus books. He was also a pioneer in the development of comic strips, using sequential images and dialogue to create humorous stories. He illustrated over 90 books and produced hundreds of paintings, showing his versatility and mastery of different techniques and styles.
