Caitlin Matthews (1952 - ) studies and writes about folk tales and traditions from different cultures, for example, Celtic wisdom, shamanism, and goddess spirituality. She lives in England with husband and author John Matthews.

Irish artist Olwyn Whelan has illustrated many children's books, such as The Barefoot Book of Fairy Tales and The Barefoot Book of Princesses. She is known for her colorful and whimsical style, which draws inspiration from folklore and nature.
