"Listen to this," said Mickey Mouse, looking up from the evening paper. "Bit Contest! Fifty Thousand Doller Prize for First Round Trip to Moon.

"Oh, Mickey," cried Minnie Mouse. "Think how dangerous it would be!"

"Think how wonderful it would be!" cried Mickey. "If only Donald Duck and I can get our new space ship finished in time."

They build their space ship in secret, hiding it in a barn, keeping it top secret so no one beats them to the Moon. But on the morning of the launch, Mickey and Minney and Donald and Daisy discover that someone's been watching the and has stolen their space ship! All the signs pointed to Peg Leg Pete! Problem is, he doesn't know how to get home. "It would serve him right," says Donald. Oh no, Mickey argues. They have to save him, like it or not. So they race to the launch pad, commendere their ship, and rocket to the moon! And they save Peg Leg Pete from himself.
